Describe the Issue:
Chorush can continue to cast power power shield with 0 mana.
How to reproduce:
Take away all of cho'rush's mana and he'll continue to cast

Cho'rush in priest mode uses https://database.turtle-wow.org/?spell=17139 which costs 110 mana, this is correct. NPCs do now have proper stats as of a recent change, before, they lacked all of their spirit coefficient in mana regen. This is intended.
What doesn't seem to be correct is that this shield seems to absorb around 600 damage, when the tooltip on the DB says a little under 300.

Here it shows how the hunter drains the mana of Cho'Rush throught the fight until he is oom at minute 26:52.
After last patch, the mana regeneration of Cho'Rush is so high that it is impossible to drain his mana to 0.

Describe the Issue:
Cho'Rush the Observer as the Shaman has unlimited mana and constantly heals the boss King Gordok at 50% hp. Not even with Vipersting you can drain his mana. For some reason his Mana regeneration rate must have been touched in the latest patch of 1am 15.12.2024 german time.
How to reproduce:
Try killing the Boss.

So here is proof of the Shaman Cho'Rush the Observer losing mana and also going to be oom at some point (this is his mana while boss is not yet getting healed because he is not at 50% hp):

None of these videos from Classic show a tick of his mana regen, only the down-ticks while under Viper sting. We like you, want this mob to behave exactly blizzlike. There is no room for guessing here. Please provide exact proof.
I believe in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyBAC0Z0aAs&t=1188s you see Cho Rush's mana tick naturally on a classic server. Pay attention at about 20:10-20:25, character has Cho targetted and cho is regenning mana upwards without viper sting on him. Numbers are very different from current turtle wow balancing.

At minute 17:21-17:23 you can see the mob regens 118 mana (from 4420 to 4538) and he regens mana every 4 seconds.
18:10 - Cho'Rush gains 118 mana, taking him to 2961(31%). This happens before viper sting is applied.
20:00 - Cho'Rush has a mana regen tick taking him from 169(2%) to 287(3%). He has no viper sting debuff at this time.
20:21 - Cho'Rush mana regen tick takes him back to 118 mana, there is no viper sting debuff.

The video above actually proves that the mob can at least be drained down to empty while the lot of the linked reports were closed claiming the endless mana is the way it should work.
How can I escelate this ticket?
Can confirm this is currently broken. Shaman and Priest Cho currently make the fight unkillable. This is NOT blizzlike as I've done this fight many times on retail classic and other 1.12.1 private servers.
Is this being worked on? Issue has been reported for more than 5 weeks now
please fix this, this was my only farming spot.
So I don't know if something has been changed with the patch from today 29.01.2025. But I'm just saying that the priest for example just healed the Boss from 30% back to 70% with 300 mana left in his mana pool.
Any updates on this, new player with alot of previous experience in DM runs in retail server. This mana bug on casters and power word shield make these runs miserable... Removing one of the core hunter farms from the game.
I just digned 60, and these runs are essentially impossible as a hunter (the only thing that's doable is the fire mage variant) simply due to the mana regen of cho'rush being so high, you can use distracting shot to counteract the shield not applying any threat, which i never had to do in retail classic, whatever you guys did with mana regen on mobs... its wrong, their regen is too high, viper sting barely puts a dent in their mana pool with how fast it regens, and you should easily be able to keep this mob on 0% mana in retail.
I started twow and a hunter ONLY to do this farm. Its the most fun I ve had while playing wow and I wanted to try it with the cool changes Turtle has implemented. The mana regeneration on Cho Rush is so overtuned that it makes it nearly impossible. Im so sad to think I might have invested all these hours to then not be able to play the part of the game I love the most.
Is this still being worked on?
I also have to add a comment to this issue. I've done this solo run milion times on my hunters in the past, It was always the n1 farming experience and kinda the only one hunters got. Here on Turtle after the changes it's impossible. Mana regen of Cho Rush is higher than mana drain of Viper Sting. Please fix this so we can enjoy the game.
Don t know when you guys figured this bugged but i opened ticket 4 months ago and i did a DMT TRIBUTE 2 days ago and still bugged,Cho have insane mana pool and mana regen.
It is a good farm for hunters and not only,there are few items that are pre raid bis there for hunters.....can devs fix this?thank you.
Any news on this bug ? Last dev comment is from 3 months ago and the bug is still present. If Chorush has healing touch the boss is unkillable. How come ?
I don't know what we have to do to get someone's attention. Does it make sense to open another ticket? We are being ignored for a long time and this problem needs to be fixed.

it's like devs never did a single tribute run in their lives and dont understand how much mana regen breaks it for all the hunters. tribute runs are very blizzlike and were doable on every private server/blizzard iteration of wow classic until that spirit change, what a surprise -_-
and this is a very weird reasoning: npcs lacked spirit coefficient in vanilla wow for all those years until NOW, because WE FIXED it and now it works «correctly» and its suddenly «blizzlike» now. nope, its not. it wasnt like that during all those iterations of vanilla wow including wow classic and all private servers. it was kept the way it was EVEN in wow classic. you just have no right to claim its blizzlike, even if you imply it was SUPPOSED to be working like that many many years before. you cant call it a bug, because its a feature now.
Exactly, it feels like they don't understand the problem. "Please provide exact proof". My proof is, that I've done this run hundreds of times even on Turtle and this "intentional" rework just makes it unkillable. Please, look how many hunters see this as a major problem and complain here. We need this fixed.
Btw I opened another report to get someone's attention. It was immediately marked as duplicated issue and closed.
It just doesn't make any sense to me that they would make mob mana regen un-blizzlike and then stay silent on something like this for months. Might as well give mobs castbar pushback as well.
Can we at least get an answer on whether or not the mana regen change can/will be reverted for Cho'Rush? A lot of people love farming here.
